Carl F. Bucherer and SuitArt are presenting the most expensive custom tailored suit in the world at the BaselWorld 2013 exhibition. The suit is graced with 880 black diamonds, bulletproof and equipped with an integrated cooling system. The suit can be purchased for CHF 2.8 million and will be custom made for the buyer.

The traditional watch manufacturer Carl F. Bucherer and SuitArt, the Swiss brand of custom tailored suits are presentingthe new technologies for custom tailored suits. The remarkablesuit named “Diamond Armor” is bulletproof, equipped with anintegrated cooling system and waterproof due to the nanotechnologysealing. Additionally, the suit is graced with 880 blackdiamonds and the lining shows an artwork by Luciano Goizueta.The retail price of the Diamond Armor is CHF 2.8 million. This price includes the original artwork, the adequate watch of Carl F. Bucherer and a 24 carat gold tie. The „Diamond Armor“ is a symbiosis of traditional tailoring, advancedtechnology and art.The buttons of the jacket are made out of Swiss watch steel 316Land are graced with 280 black diamonds. Additionally, 600 diamondsgrace the lapel and the contours of the noble garment.The diamonds weigh 142 carat in total.
