The Manero ChronoPerpetual from the Lucerne watch manufacture Carl F. Bucherer has been awarded the title of “Best Chronograph” at this year’s “Middle East Premier Awards for Watches, Jewellery and Pens” in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Since 2005, the “Middle East Premier Awards for Watches, Jewellery and Pens” have been regarded as among the most prestigious awards in the watches and jewelry sector.
The awards are organized annually by the Bahrain-based magazine “Arabian Watches & Jewellery”(AWJ), and mark the start of the “Jewellery Arabia Exhibition” in Bahrain.
This year the award ceremony was held on October 16, 2012 at the luxurious Hotel Ritz Carlton in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The glittering gala event was attended by 300 guests, including royal personages, high-ranking officials, celebrities and diplomats, as well as journalists and experts from the watches and jewelry sector.
Best Chronograph.
A total of 512 timepieces in ten categories were nominated. The Manero ChronoPerpetual from Carl F. Bucherer won the “Best Chronograph” category, beating off competition from timepieces from well-known brands.
This should come as no surprise, for the Manero ChronoPerpetual excels at all levels. The appeal of this timepiece from the Lucerne watch Manufacture lies principally in its perpetual calendar with correction-free display of the date, day of the week, month and moon phase, the mechanism for which recognizes the varying lengths of the months and knows when the next leap year is coming. In addition the Manero ChronoPerpetual, with its functional and sophisticated yet easily readable dial, is a truly eye-catching timepiece.
